Pick up from the Airport/Train Station and proceed to Munnar. (120 km Distance from Cochin International Airport) A brief stopover en route at Cheeyapara waterfalls and as evening approaches, stop once again at the Punarjani Traditional Village, an attraction which showcases Kerala’s art and culture Night halt at Munnar.
Morning Drive to Eravilkulam National Park. Walk through the national park to see the Nilgiri Tahr an endangered species. The Nilgiri Tahr (Nilgiritragus hylocrius) known locally as the Nilgiri ibex or simply ibex, is an ungulate that is endemic to the Nilgiri Hills and the southern portion of the Western Ghats in the states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala in southern India. It is the state animal of Tamil Nadu. Despite its local name, it is more closely related to the sheep of the Ovis genus than the ibex and wild goats of the Capra genus. Get to see flora in the park. Afternoon – Kannan Devan Tea Museum and get to know about the art of tea processing. You also get to know to the origin of Munnar through a short documentary film. (28 minutes) Night halt at Munnar.
Morning proceed to Thekkadi. Check-in to the hotel, Afternoon– Proceed to Periyar Tiger Reserve and enjoy the boat ride in the Periyar Lake. Get to see the flora and fauna from the safety of the boat. Visit the Kadathanadan Kalari Centre and get treated to a show of art and culture of Kerala. Night halt at Thekkady
Morning drive to Kambam (24 Km. 40 Min) Located in the Theni district of the western part of Tamil Nadu, Kambam is an agricultural town. With a stunning backdrop of the Kodaikanal Hills and a climate to soothe the senses, Kambam is a potential tourist destination in South India. The main attraction in Kambam is Grape farm. Visit the main Grape farms in Kambam. Drive back to Cochin. Drop at Airport / Train station for Return journey
